Looking back on this case…should have undercontoured the Critical Contour or Interface Zone, then the gingival architecture would have been more symmetrical. Existing root positions and according to patient, was a diastema at the midline that was corrected by overcontoured crowns. Additionally, excess tissue growth on the occlusal surface of fractured tooth made it harder to approximate the margin on the provisional. Learn from this experience, and try to figure out a way to improve predictable margin placement in terms of surgical and restorative.
